Annual Winter Meeting @ Sugarloaf
 February 7- 8, 2026

The Maine Society of Anesthesiologists' Annual Winter Meeting will be held at the Sugarloaf Mountain Hotel in Carrabassett Valley, Maine. The meeting will run from Saturday, February 7, to Sunday, February 8, 2025.  

Meeting Highlights:

  • Business Meeting with Officer, ASA Director, and ASA Delegate Elections

  • Keynote Speaker:  Meredith Peck, MD, will present Speaking New Evidence into Old Ideas: New Understandings in Regional Anesthesia and Acute Pain Medicine  from a Year in Fellowship, followed by an Ultrasound Clinic

  • Sunday Morning CME PBLDs

    • Anesthetic Considerations for Pregnant Patients Undergoing Non-Obstetric Surgery

    • Complications of Regional Anesthesia and Appropriate Intervention

    • Evaluation and Management of the Hemodialysis Patient in the Perioperative Setting

    • Marijuana: Clinical Considerations in Modern Anesthetic Practice
